Moderate. ~3-4 hours by car from Nanning (NNG, China) or via Cao BαΊ±ng (Vietnam). Doable as a long day-trip; an overnight is more relaxed. Bring your passport - the falls sit on the border and rules differ by side (foreigners may need to register on the Vietnam side). Buy tickets at the gate; ride the bamboo raft. September-November for the best flow and weather.
