Long transfer + 2-3 h hike each way
Moderate. Fly to Jaén (JAE, 4-5h drive) or Chachapoyas (closer, limited flights), then drive to Cocachimba, the trailhead. From there it's a 2-3 hour hike each way through cloud forest - a guide is recommended. Small entry fee on site. Best in the dry season (May-September); trails get slippery when wet.
