Easy - but check the timetable. ~1.5 hours from Rome by train to Terni plus a short bus/taxi. Entry fee; crucially, the falls run only during scheduled water-release times - check before you go. Viewpoints top and bottom, the "Lovers' Balcony", and short trails. Late spring or early autumn for strong flow and good weather.
