Easy. Right off the Ring Road at Skógar, ~2 hours from Reykjavík. Walk up to the base, or climb the staircase beside it for the top-down view and the trail beyond. No ticket. Summer is easiest; winter is scenic but icy - check road conditions. Pairs with Seljalandsfoss and the black-sand beach at Reynisfjara.
